This Saturday, October 22, come join the Epilepsy Foundation – Iowa Youth Council for some amazing fall fun!
We will be meeting at Williamson’s Pumpkin Patch in Ankeny from 3-4:30 PM to paint your own pumpkin purple to take home for the EFA #PurplePumpkinProject for epilepsy! We will also go on a hayrack ride and participate in a team building low ropes course!
The Purple Pumpkin Project is a fun way to spread epilepsy awareness and make lasting memories with family and friends while also raising money for the life-saving resources provided through the Epilepsy Foundation of America and the Epilepsy Foundation – Iowa. Throw a party – you provide the pumpkins, purple paint, pumpkin decorations and, of course, snacks! Invite your friends, classmates, family and neighbors – asking only that they bring a small monetary donation for the Epilepsy Foundation – and create your purple pumpkin masterpieces to proudly display on your porches throughout October. When anyone asks why your pumpkin is purple, share your story!
There are many other activities which the teens & their families can enjoy after our gathering, such as a farm animal petting area, hay maze, corn pit, pumpkin cannon, corn maze and much more!
Please sign up HERE and plan on a fun family activity while we can still enjoy the gorgeous October weather!
